The premise of Cougar Town may sound more suited to the arguably limited market of Lifetime, but in fact, it would be most suitable for the recycling. So it’s time to switch the channel when this new ABC sitcom comes on, but what makes it so boringly bad?
The Plot ofCougar Town
On the occasions that the actors use calmer line delivery, it becomes obvious that the audience is not being treated to a cast of particularly talented performers or a script of any noticeable wit.
Almost impossibly, Cox plays her character as a more hyper version of Monica, her former character from Friends, and most of the cast delivers their lines as a race against time, which destroys the comic timing and the dramatic impact.
Unfortunately,Jordan 12, the overdone plot premise of a home maker suddenly having to form a new life due to no longer having a husband is rarely successful in either exploring the situation truthfully or showing the humor sometimes existing within it. And CougarTown not only fails in both regards, but it seems more like a show either about male fantasy or representative of a small sector of females.
The only standout performance is offered by Dan Byrd, who plays the regularly embarrassed seventeen year old son of his cougar mother and irresponsible father. Byrd seems to be the only main cast member who plays his character with completeness, allowing the character of Travis Cobb to be sympathetic, interesting, and still humorous.

There is little of either comic or serious merit, so it is neither amusing nor absorbing. The characters are mainly void of dimension and uninteresting - it is hard to care about the central character herself - and since the show isn't particularly entertaining, who cares what happens?
Jules Cobb (Courtney Cox), a recent divorcee with a teenage son,Air Jordan 23 XX3 Shoes, begins to recapture her fleeting youth by dating younger men, while her family and friends offer opinions. Jules spent her actual twenties as a wife and mother, but now that she has been cut loose, she is on the prowl.

Equally,Jordan 23 XX3, this form of line delivery causes the majority of the dialogue to be inaudible and thus the storyline is unintelligible.
Overall, this is a limited show which is relying on obtaining audience from its association with past hits or known names.
Considering that the show is produced by Bill Lawrence, the creator of Scrubs,jordan 12 rising sun, it is possible that the cast is being directed to perform in this way, but the naturally fast paced world of an emergency room is not realistic in a situation comedy about family and friends.
