It is important to remember DO NOT pick up your supplies (cardboard, magazines, stickers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], words, images, etc) before the new moon. The idea is that you do not want “old” energy (before the Aries new moon) entering the new energy you are trying to create (after the Aries New Moon).

Some of you may be into this from the spiritual angle, some not. Either way I think it is a great exercise in goal setting and manifesting your dreams.The Treasure Map was born and created by a famous astrologer named Buzz Meyers. It goes something like this:
Buzz recommended that you "build" a treasure map. The map is made on foam core or cardboard, & it’s essentially a big collage. Its made of pictures,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], images, cut out words,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], written words, photos of you or your loved ones, any material you find which translates your inner dreams. The most important element to your map however, is your intention. Its time for you to speak up & tell the universe what you want. It can also be as simple as writing your intentions on a slip of paper.
Once a year there is a time, when you should sit down and plan what you want to accomplish during the next 12 months. That time of year is Aries new moon. Ideally it should be done on that day. For 2009 the Aries new moon arrives on March 26 12:06 pm EST. 6 degrees Aries 08
The Aries new moon is the beginning of the astrological new year, SPRING, and hence the time for an annual ritual I hold near and dear. This year’s Aries New Moon is March 26 12:06 pm EST. 6 degrees Aries 08. I do this ritual with my family creating a "treasure map" of all the things I want to create for myself, my life, others for the year. We create the treasure map in the form of a collage and I look and meditate on it daily. It is a special manifesting tool and so much fun! Some people in the world do this ritual based on the Tibetan New Year, also in the Spring.
