However, he has a talent that film buffs will look forward to seeing more of. Grant was actually an actor in Leatherheads with George Clooney, so there is the connection. Everyone knows everyone in Hollywood.
The title says it all. The Men from an alternative section of the U.S army using the paranormal to fight for their country. Apparently there is some truth to this story [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but which parts?
Paranormal Activity in the Army?
Ewan McGregor plays a journalist who stumbles across this information and then stumbles across Clooney. Clooney is the best psychic from the New Earth Army and takes this journalist for a quite unfortunate adventure. New Oscar winner Jeff Bridges is the leader the New Earth army that dedicates itself to peaceful fighting. Clooney is his star recruit with the ability to find anything, anywhere in the world. But then comes Kevin Spacey who has strong psychic abilities but can’t match up to Clooney. This is when it all falls apart. The army removes the group and it seems all over. Of course, it really isn’t.
This is not your typical war film. There is some bomb explosions and some bleeding [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a few guns, oh and they are in Iraq. Otherwise, not what you usually see in a war film. You don’t usually see men in army uniform with long hair dancing around a room taking a few drugs. You don’t usually see goats either.
The Men Who Stare At Goats is the latest project from Clooney to hit the cinemas. It’s what the big deal actors and producers are doing these days; buying the rights to well known books and turning them into million dollar movies. And they are reaping the rewards.
