Shanghai has attracted another 14 new multinational companies to set up their headquarters here in the first quarter of this year.

The service industry is adjusting its structure to attract more investment. Outsourcing service companies like EDS and the data processing company of Citibank have settled in city. The investment companies are in stable condition with the revenue of US$422.16 billion in the first quarter,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a 20 percent increase year-on-year.
