Years later a bright idea was given to Louis Braille of reading by a tactile code. This idea was given to him by a French weaponry officer by the name of Charles Barbier de la Serre.
Louis Braille did extensive and profound experiments tirelessly and finally reaped the harvest of his boring work which became a blessing to all blind people thereafter. He developed the triumphant reading and writing system that is used globally today by the blind.

In the Braille system numbers and punctuation signs too exist. Braille numbers are proclaimed by a sign using dots 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Louis Brailles hard work and dedication along with talent has enabled several blind folks practically every blind person who is willing to go through the ordeal of learning it to have admission to information and have contact with outer world just as the sighted individual would have through the printed word.
Children with vision loss too can learn spellings and have direct contact with written stuff. In the present society Braille books are available related to every subject.
The Braille adapted devices such as watches, games and thermometers are sure relieving the frustrated sightless.
Braille is an whole new language. To be skilled in Braille, time and practice is needed just like for any other language.
Now, computer key boards too are available with Braille systems. There are two solutions that could help the visually weakened. One is the Braille scheme on the computer key board. The Canadian bank notes, Mexican bank notes and Indian bank notes have hoisted dots relating to the Braille system which enables the notes to be acknowledge by the visually impaired.
